Letters of Support for Gender-Affirming Healthcare
I write letters of support for gender-affirming medical care. If you would like to have a single session that includes a brief assessment and interview sufficient for a letter of support, please contact me about this option.
Note: I am not a doctor and cannot prescribe HRT or provide surgery. I can only write letters of support for those who have a medical team in place.
Culturally Informed Care
I am committed to providing services to people of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and religions. I acknowledge my responsibility as a therapist to educate myself on social issues while also not making assumptions about someone’s lived experiences based solely on their demographics. I am dedicated to antiracist practices and providing the best services possible to my clients.
Good Faith Agreement Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the “No Surprises” law, health care providers need to give patients an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
